Finally, Tuesday July 10th marks the launch of Rooftop Films Summer Series at the Gateway Center At the Bronx Terminal Market which will be held, well , on the roof! Celebrate the summer with Bronx Terminal Market and Rooftop Films every other Tuesday this July and August. Mark your calendars and bring your beach chairs or towels for a FREE, family-friendly film series under the stars on Bronx Terminal Market’s Level 6 garage roof deck. Come early to save your spot and check out special pre-film festivities with community groups starting at 7:30pm. Movies begin promptly at sunset (around 8:30pm). IATI Theater kicks off the first night of Rooftop Films at Bronx Terminal Market to celebrate Latin-American culture with a selection followed by our feature film, Rango. The film stars Johnny Depp as in his first animated feature alongside mariachi owls and a Mexican folk-inspired soundtrack written by Los Lobos and celebrated film composer Hans Zimmer.
All film screenings at Bronx Terminal Market are presented with support of NYC & Company. In the event of cancellation due to rain, the announcement will be posted on the Bronx Terminal Market Facebook page the day of the event.
