Talk To The Screen: Paris Is Burning – An Interactive Screening Of A Landmark Documentary

image Join the Bronx Documentary Center this Friday, August 3rd for an interactive screening of the powerful documentary, Paris Is Burning. The film chronicles the ballroom and voguing scene in the LGBT community of blacks and latinos during the mid to late 80's - a subculture of a subculture often ignored - and was released in 1991. The Bronx Documentary Center is located at 614 Courtlandt Avenue (@151st St) and can be easily reached by the subway (2 and 5 trains at 3rd Avenue / 149th Street), buses (2, 4, 15, 19, 41) or Metro North to the Melrose Station.
